Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Seaborn H — 04 Jun 2017
Gal Gadot is great in this role, but the movie itself suffers by comparison. Why? The usual reason - millions spent on action sequences and special effects, but not enough time or attention to the story. The movie works better in its first half, than its second. There are moving moments, and women in the audience seemed to love the idea of a heroic.
Female protagonist - but the plot and the characters stumble and there are times I was yawning at the screen. C+.
