Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Charandeep G — 31 May 2017

I felt a strange sensation when Diana Prince stepped on the the battlefield...I haven't felt the same since the Dark Knight. The hair on my arms stood up and my heart beat accelerated faster than the Flash at max velocity. My fingers gripped the arms of the chair with such a force that my knuckles turned white. I can only imagine thier color, the screen captivated me as I witnessed Gal Gadot forever adopt the title of Wonder Woman!!

To see the movie as well rounded seems way too simple, but I will do my best to explain it. Gadot delivers the most mesmerizing female superhero performance ever witnessed on screen! She is both an intense and lighthearted Amazon princess trying to find her way in a world stricken with terror and war. She defies cultural expectations by taking initiative against bulletfire and cowards who don't fight while encouraging others who don't think they can. Diana Prince doesn't just run around slicing people up with a pointy sword, she uses a vigorously coreagraphed fighting style that is delivered to perfection, leaving the audience awe-stricken. Gadot also gives us a view of the intense Amazoness with lighthearted quips of obliviousness that seem to fit at just the right moments, but trust me she's not going to smile after ripping some people to shreds like Groot. I probably can't convince you of how awesome this movie is, go view it for yourself and offer others your opinion. Have a blast!

Here's a sidenote for those of you who have read this far: Zack Snyder helped write the story for this movie, just going to throw that out there.
