Wonder Woman appeals to all ends of the emotional spectrum. It's a truly fulfilling film that tackles tough themes such as the horrors of war, but contains just enough humor to add levity without undermining the severity of the situation.
Additionally, Gadot's "fish out of water" performance never once undermines the believability and inherent ferocity of her character, which is a true testament to the film's expertly-crafted script.
