Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Brian O — 01 Jun 2017
The acting and dialogue was cringe worthy at some points, became something I got hung up on throughout the film.
The plot was decent enough but there were just something that made zero sense, whether you're straying from comic book source material or not.
Finally the "love" connection between Diana and Steve was rather rushed and forced, they knew each other for what, a week at best? I guess you could say it was heat of the moment but I don't know if their relationship had been fleshed enough for Steve to drop the L word on her.
Outside of that I appreciated the comedic relief, the action, and the red herring.
Characters were likeable but I'd still like to know how long/how they knew each other in the first place.
