Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Dukejon — 11 Mar 2018
The besy superhero movie I've seen in quite a while. Gil Gadot is perfectly cast as the amazonian heroine. The battle scenes are excellent and there's a great supporting cast. However the CGI is too over the top in parts and the boss battle at the end is quite cheesy.
On a side note, I think it's quite shameful how they appropriated General Ludendorff as a psychotic villain, when you consider that he is one of the finest field commanders of the last century. You can imagine the furore if a German film was released where George Washington or General Patton were portrayed as second tier evil henchmen.
