Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by John P — 13 May 2017
I don't claim to know everything about the finer points of modern feminism, but as I watch this movie I see valiant, courageous women who are valuable not for their beauty but for their strength. I value deeply the - at times naive - optimism and singleminded focus tAnd hat drives Wonder Woman.
And while this movie never truly forgot the fact that it was a "superhero" flick, Gadot's Wonder Woman is the kind of character whom I only hope to meet more and more. She's the crowning jewel of the Justice League, and the antithesis to this iteration's overly moody, conflicted Batman.
