Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Dita S — 21 Nov 2018
The sheer joy it brings me simply because it nails the portrayal of such an optimistic female superhero. It is the only DCEU movie so far that truly embodies the characterisation of the hero. Man of Steel comes so close to achieving that.
To me, DC characters always had stronger character arcs and it is nice to finally see this character who always had hope, who constantly chooses to see the bright side of every situation without being overbearing.
I simply adored Steve Trevor and his willingness to help her too. Additionally, Gal Gadot was just gorgeous.
