Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Harrison V — 23 Jul 2017
As far as the Marvel/DC universes go, this movie is more unique for reasons that go beyond the obvious gender flipped protagonist, and is overall a strong step forward. However, the movie does continue to rely too heavily on the superhero mold, and only attempts to break this at the conclusion of the film.
Overall: could've been worse, could've been better.
