Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Sam W — 13 Jul 2017

This movie has great action, a strong and amazing protagonist and fun supporting characters. However, I think this film has an ending that lets it down. The message for the entire movie up until then is that time and again Diana is told she can't save people or that they're not worth saving, and she still keeps on trying. It would have been so good if at the end she was shown that humanity has major flaws, is proven wrong and still she decides to save them. The movie does try to spread this message in the final fight with doctor poison, but then proceeds to make the soldiers perfect and happy after Diana kills Ares.

Still, I think this film has too many merits for this to ruin it and I would definitely watch this over any DCEU film to date.
