Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Rvrgb E — 05 Jul 2017
A lot of scenes existed solely to shove Diana's naïveté down your throat. Many of them were heavy-handed, cliched attempts to endear the main character to the audience (the baby scene, for example). The characters fill in the scenes instead of having scenes come from them--poor scriptwriting, I think.
There was no chemistry between the two leads. None of the other characters were memorable aside from Diana's aunt, who sported a TERRIBLE accent. Ares was not scary. I was not impressed. They do get a star for brief glimmers of heart but overall I was just bored.
