A beautifully animated and quite faithful genesis story of DC's most enduring female superhero. The characterisations of Wonder Woman and her wouldbe beau Steve Trevor (given some witty lines here) are very well done and performed with both confidence and competence by Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion; Oliver Platt is perfect as the wicked and glutenous Hades, though his role is too limited.
The narrative isn't quite as engaging as one would expect, but here's hoping the Amazon princess returns to fight another day.
