This is possibly the worst movie I have seen in the past 2 years. The pacing was horrible, the stakes felt doubtful, and the movie was a half hour longer than it should be. Gal Gadot's mediocre acting was on full display, and her monotone voice adds to the unstimulating storyline.
Pedro Pascal's Max Lord is the only good part of the movie. Kristen Wiig was great as well, but her character lacked a complete character arc.
After an amazing first movie, 1984 somehow manages to redo everything its predecessor did that was right.
