Review of Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) by Anirudhpi — 25 Dec 2020
I got to watch Wonder Woman 1984 on 17th of December on an IMAX screen, and I was blown away by it! It is a pure popcorn flick! It’s unique and has a style that I love. The colours and visuals were very well done.
The music is outstanding! Hans Zimmer doesn’t fail to surprise. Gal Gadot has proved us that her acting skills are exceptional! Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord is a cunning villain and has a style that resonates with the ’80s very well and is one of the film's highlights! Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah was character-driven and had pure rawness towards the end, even though I would’ve liked to see her be explored more.
This movie is directed so that it looks similar to the 80s film and TV and some people may fail to see it that way. The whole point of it having the film to be driven by emotion and acting is to share memories with that era.
