Review of Wonder Boys (2000) by Aled T — 13 Feb 2008
An effortless piece of storytelling, this film is so perfectly handled it's hard to criticize it. Douglas and Downey Jr are a treat, while Tobey Maguire turns in a career-best in my opinion. This film is great - warm, funny and quite moving, without being too syrrupy.
Great soundtrack too. Top stuff.
