Review of Wonder Boys (2000) by Barnaby G — 14 Feb 2008
God, this film has had a lot of good reviews. Personally, I thought it was a boring, contrived and pointless lump of hard shite. Sickeningly awful performances from Maguire and Downey Jr. It tried to be oddball funny, as well as clever and meaningful, yet failed miserably.
It's a shame someone as good as Frances McDormand has to make a living by appearing in pieces of shit like this.
