Review of Wonder Boys (2000) by Alec B — 01 Mar 2009
Given the subject matter this could have been a disaster but it's very enjoyable and funny. This is one of Michael Douglas' best performances. He could have gone way over the top, like he sometimes does, but here it keeps it real and down to earth.
His character is totally identifiable. The supporting cast is great as well, Robert Downy Jr. almost completely steals the show. Plus it features what is probably the last really good Bob Dylan song,"Things Have Changed".
