Review of Wonder Boys (2000) by Ron C — 13 Feb 2012
Quite a film. Professor trip has a rough weekend to say the least where he is forced to make a decision about a book he is working on, his love life, and helping out a troubled student. Reminds me of Russo's Straight Man.
Opener: grading a student paper.
A great scene:
Prof. trip: "You want one?" referring to a coedine pill.
James (the student): "No.".
Prof trip: "That's right you're fit as a fucking fiddle".
