Review of Wonder (2017) by Laura W — 06 Dec 2017
Incredible adaptation of a book which I also thoroughly enjoyed. Did not think it possible to do such a wonderful (no pun intended) book justice, but this film surpassed all expectations. I was close to tears throughout a large majority of it, but laughing through many moments too.
Often gut-wrenching, poignant and relatable, "Wonder" chronicles the life of a ten year old boy with facial differences who experiences adversity, but is able to overcome it with the support and love of his family.
It should not be missed.
