Review of Wonder (2017) by Aaron G — 15 Dec 2017
I admit it would be impossible for me to objectively review this movie, but regardless, this is probably the most wholesome film ever made, and one of the most straightforward movie adaptations you'll ever see.
Jacob Tremblay deserves an Oscar nomination (and he'll probably get it - kid + disabilities + crying = Oscar Gold), Owen Wilson brings some genuine laughs to what could have been a preachy movie, and Julia Roberts gives her best performance I've seen yet.
All of the supporting actors (mostly kids) are fantastic. There isn't a weak link in the whole thing. You'll walk out of the theatre wanting to choose kind.
