So, I did read the book first, which undoubtedly skews my opinion of this movie. The book was written in the first person of multiple characters, and unfortunately that just doesn't really translate to the big screen well.
That being said, the story is amazing, and if you can't read the book, it's totally worth your time to watch this movie.
