I understand why people liked this sappy movie. It's got a physically challenged kid with nearly perfect parents in Owen Wilson and Julie Roberts. Together they can overcome anything!
This is an okay movie. The dialogue is a little beyond believable sometimes, but most people will dismiss it because it's coming from a cute kid.
The one premise in the movie I can really support is "be somebody's friend who needs a friend." It's not that hard and it makes a huge difference in everyone's lives.
For an $8 ticket, you get $8 worth of entertainment.
