The only thing that kept my attention is obviously Auggie. His character is well developed and very realistic. But that is pretty much it, everything else is bland and cheesy drama. There are some scenarios that are done just for the sake of drama.
An example would be the conflict between the daughter and her best friend. It is resolved in a very amateur way; almost a head scratcher. A couple of scenes they are conflicted with one another, then suddenly they are all hanging out and eating pizza.
