I like how Steven Chbosky made an arguably unoriginal story into an original one. How he makes a story for each character is incredible to me. You're going to be hating the antagonist and loving the protagonists.
My favorite scene was when Jack Will punched Julian in the face because it left you feeling proud of Jack for standing up to his friend. And the twist where Jack talks bad about Auggie behind his back left you feeling betrayed just like Auggie, and the ending made you feel redemption and it was a real tear-jerker.
