Review of Women in the Wind (1939) by Greg W — 13 Jan 2014
Strictly B stuff with Kay sliding fast down the Hollywood ladder. You know it's bad when the essence of sophistication and elegance is dressed in clothes straight off the rack that don't even look fit for housework.
Gargan gives his customary bland performance and Eve Arden while never dull is wasted in a throwaway part.
