Great movie, excellent acting and terrific script. Unfortunately, although this is a movie it saddens me that this mother daughter scenario will happen again and again. Slight change I would make in the scene where the mother was asking the boyfriend if he had troubled her daughter.
Instead of her sitting and waiting with a knife in hand, I think that she should have met him at the door with a frying pan to the head then ask the questions with him lying stunned on the floor.
