It is a typical romantic comedy flick, only with an added plot involving a goddess but still with the same tiring cliches and cultural stereotypes. The annoying and awful ex-husband just suddenly changes all of a sudden and gets back with the protagonist, ugh.
The script is terrible and the supposedly hilarious moments are awfully executed. I don't even know why I watched this. I guess I watched this because I was intrigued with the daring title "Woman on Top" and I was hoping to see the amazing Penelope Cruz I saw in films All About My Mother and Volver.
