Review of Woman in the Dunes (1964) by William H — 23 May 2007
This high tension, mysterious, haunting and even erotic Japanese movie from 1964 is in my book the most perfect movie ever made. The imagery is utterly beautiful and captivating. It is a reflection on Zen philosophy that makes U wonder about the meaning of life.
People who like reading Sartre, Camus or Kafka will adore this.
