Teshigahara is quickly becoming one of my favorite japanese directors. This film is a work of art. Extremely beautiful, great atmosphere, music, editing, etc. I particular love the editing and score cause they provide an assault to the senses creating an environment which I will not soon forget.
Definetly a masterpiece..
