Review of Woman in Gold (2015) by Rod H — 03 May 2015
Hands down five stars. What an amazing movie and it being a true story adds so much more emotional connection with the main characters. Unbelievably this happened only seventy plus years ago. That really puts things in perspective and helps me to value the freedoms I have.
The movie truly was beautifully done. The scenes where the main character is remembering back makes you feel like you're there. I'm frankly shocked critics gave it such low ratings. It makes me realize I can't ever judge a movie based on what the critics are rating it. I'm buying it when it comes out.
