Review of Wolf Creek (2005) by Chris M — 08 Sep 2008
Yes. They do make a couple of really stupid decisions, but that doesn't stop this from being a grimly effective horror film. The opening sequences give us three very natural protagonists, and John Jarratt is first engaging then terrifying and brutal.
With hindsight this film would surely have been best marketed with as little information as possible, so that audiences could really experience the shift in tone.
