Loosely based on real events, this ultra-realistic horror film is extremely well-made with strong characters. It's very suspenseful and takes its time in introducing us to Australia and our backpackers.
Ultimately, the film is intelligent, effective and very frightening. It was banned in Australia - for fear of losing tourists and re-opening real-life courtroom trials - a true testament to its realism.
