Review of Wolf Creek (2005) by Matt R — 12 Oct 2012
It's all in that slow build, where the film takes its time and allows complete investment in the characters. WC does that and does it well. McLean also makes wonderful use of the locale, and his stylistic choices couldn't be more dead on, giving the film a lyrical yet very unsettling tone.
