Have heard reviews ranging from 'terrifying' to 'rubbish'. The truth is somewhere in between. Whilst this kept my attention and Jarratt as the killer is both terrifying and hilarious this type of film has been done loads of times before and there wasn't really anything new in it.
If it wasn't 'based on a true story' then this could easily be 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' or 'Wrong Turn'. Saying that, the 'head on a stick' scene will stay with me for a while!
