Wolf Creek 2 comes out 9 years after the original one, it seems to pick up right after the first one. Director Greg McLean (director of both Wolf Creek 1 & 2) was quoted saying: "Our goal is to create an even more suspenseful, chilling and unforgettable experience for audiences and we feel very confident they will not be disappointed.
" They succeeded! I can't imagine what they cut from this movie to get it approved. This sequel doesn't focus much on character development like the first one, it's basically suspense from beginning to end in a game of cat and mouse with gory snuff kills along the way that is at times a bit shocking; (one death in particular) due to the movie being mostly all practical effects, it appears more real than everything CGI.
Credit is due for not just trying to redo the first movie, and throwing the audience for a loop, and making me cringe at times and want to look away! When you figured the storyline was going one way, your dead wrong, no pun intended!!
