Starts promisingly enough (and ends on an interesting note), but whereas the original spent a lot of time getting to know the victims and building high tension before the carnage exploded, this is straight into the mayhem - leaving no time to begin to care for the characters, and a scene involving badly CGI'd kangaroos is a complete misfire.
