Review of Witness for the Prosecution (1957) by Mary H — 23 Feb 2008
Just the right mix of comedy and drama, the script was intelligent and the acting was believable. Didnt quite have the brilliance of double indemnity but after watching this film as well as Sunset Blvd im quickly becoming a huge fan of Billy Wilder.
Also it was refreshing to see a courtroom drama set in england for once, being a law student it made it even more interesting to watch.
