Review of Witness for the Prosecution (1957) by Les E — 29 May 2009
Laughton is quite brilliant in this witty Wilder courtroom drama. The story is built up steadily and cleverly with no revelations. Of course there is a twist at the end but everyone ends up as they deserve to.
