Review of Witness for the Prosecution (1957) by Ryan P — 11 Nov 2012

I was overwhelmed with the writing of this movie. Billy Wilder's adaptation of Agatha Christie's play is just brilliant. Great all-round performances, but Charles Laughton's performance in particular was simply outstanding.

After seeing him in ''Mutiny on the Bounty'' and now ''Witness for the Prosecution,'' I think he will become one of my all-time favourite actors. I can't articulate how much I loved this movie.

Let's just say it's a fantastic courtroom drama. Highly recommended!
