Review of Witness (1985) by Susan D — 24 Nov 2007
This movie does the best job of depicting Amish life that I've ever seen. It's respectful and beautiful and the barn-raising scene is one of my favorites. Add to it Maurice Jarre's beautiful score and it's a wonderful movie, with the odd murder or two thrown in.
Harrison Ford shines as a brilliant actor.
