I was actually pretty impressed with the movie, with Ford's performance, with the obvious tension between he and McGillis, with him and the Amish community. Great script I'm sure, that's the main reason I wanted to see it.
Great cinematography and did good justice to the Amish community, which was not done in other films (a la Kingpin). This is a great Ford movie.
