Review of Witness (1985) by Philip O — 26 Aug 2008
Excellent. The story is remarkably human, yet original and engaging. I was half-afraid this would be an Amish exploitation flick, but Weir masterfully crafts his work so wisely that that thought quickly vanished.
His use of non-verbal communication is electrifying, and the acting is top-notch. This film is well worth your time.
