Review of Witness (1985) by Sean C — 30 Aug 2008
Harrison Ford gives one of his best performances, and Peter Weir adds another great film to his arsenal. This movie is an action-thriller without succumbing to many of the cliches that bog down most of these movies.
The villain (at least one of them) is not entirely evil, and the guy doesn't always have to end up with the girl. Look closely and you'll see an Amish Aragorn hanging around, and also that guy from Die Hard who just wouldn't die until Carl from Family Matters shot him down, he shows up too.
Danny Glover does a good job being evil, also.
