Review of Without Limits (1998) by Tim M — 11 Dec 2007
Though not as accurate as 'Prefontaine', this biopic, on the legendary Oregon runner who's life was tragically cut short, has superior acting. Including Billy Crudup's dead-on, underappreciated performance of the title character, and Donald Sutherland's Golden Globe nominated performance of Pre's coach and Nike founder Bill Bowerman.
Even if you're not a runner, it's hard not to watch 'Without Limits' and not want to knock out a 'quick 10'. One of the most underrated inspirational movies ever, that really makes you wonder how far the human body, and heart, can go.
