Review of Without a Paddle (2004) by Kc P — 01 Jul 2010
** (out of four).
Comic misfire that offers a few laughs, mostly from Seth Green and Dax Shepard. But the film is mostly one misguided joke after another.
Green, Shepard and Matthew Lillard are three friends who reunite twelve years after high school for the funeral of a friend. They discover a treasure map in the friend's belongings. Believing it leads to a treasure map they take a journey down a river in search of wealth.
The plot gows just about as you might expect. Green comes off best, but Matthew Lillard is just plain annoying.
