Review of Withnail & I (1987) by Neil M — 06 Sep 2009
A film that I had watched when I was sixteen and never really saw the appeal of. Having watched it now at the world weary age of 29, having lived like the protagonists and had many a day like the one they have right at the start, I felt a lot more empathy for the leads.
I understood so much more of the humour...finally I get it and more to the point I loved it for that.
