Review of Withnail & I (1987) by Antonius B — 04 Aug 2010
This might be the best film on the 1960s, in part because it is not about the 60s in an overt way. At first it just seems like a funny well acted character study. In the last ten minutes the film ups the ante and leaves you with one of those powerful and though provoking endings that as of late are a rare species.
