Review of With Six You Get Eggroll (1968) by Jason O — 17 Aug 2009
Always heard a lot about Doris Day but had never seen any of her movies, so I watched this one not long ago. Not a bad movie about two sides of a family blending and then having marital problems along with step-sibling rivalries.
I can see where everyone says it was a precursor to The Brady Bunch. Parts of the movie are mildly humorous and overall it's entertaining, but nothing notably great. The ending where the family members finally got on the right page seemed forced and unconvincing, however.
