Easily the most original film of the past decade. Perfectly timed, well-acted, comedic gold with just the right amount of tastelessness. Ã?lex de la Iglesia is well on his way to becoming a cult icon that's equal parts John Waters and Mario Bava.
It calls to mind the humble begins of big name directors like Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi. I only hope that de la Iglesia meets such success, for he is well deserving of it.
