Review of Wit (2001) by Johann V — 06 Jun 2007
Possibly the most morbid and yet amusing films ever made. The exploration of life on the receiving end of medical technocrats is so life-like one often feels transported into the pain and confusion and struggle and release/surrender Emma's character.
The power of Donne's poetry is foundational and is admirably complimented by the redemptive story of parental/divine love read from a child's book near the end.
