Review of Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies (1999) by Jon C — 22 Aug 2012
It's a step down from the fun, gory, scary 1st installment.
But Andrew Divoff's return as the Djinn makes the movie worth sitting through.
The effects seem very cheap here for some reason as the filmmakers intended which does disappoint, although they don't half-ass the gore.
Still, it's not the worst of the series, that's not til #3.
And of course #4 is still tolerable.
This could have been the next great horror franchise but it just keeps limping sadly on it's own feet.
